Outreach by Indigenous Missionaries – Colombia

Momentum is building. Last year, the Indigenous tribal network LICAC launched a bold outreach initiative to bring the Gospel to five unreached ethnic groups in Colombia: the Barí, Cofan, Miraña, Hupda, and Jiw. Now, in Phase 2, the vision is advancing.

This next phase focuses on training Indigenous missionary teams and developing culturally and linguistically tailored resources to deepen the impact of outreach. These tools will help communicate the Gospel in ways that resonate with each community’s unique identity—strengthening both spiritual understanding and cultural dignity.

Indigenous leaders are shaping the strategy, building partnerships, and creating resources from within their own cultural frameworks. This outreach project is an initiative rooted in relationship, relevance, and long-term transformation.
