Luis and Katy serve as Paraguayan missionaries to Colombia, working within the Three Waves Movement as national facilitators alongside the network of Indigenous Christian Leaders of the Colombian Amazon (LICAC).
Much of their ministry focuses on building meaningful relationships with Indigenous leaders, actively listening to their realities, challenges, and needs. They recognize that these needs cannot be addressed by a single organization, but rather through collaboration among local churches, ministry networks, and organizations serving in these contexts.
In this role, Luis and Katy function as catalysts—facilitating cooperative processes and strengthening strategic partnerships. Their approach aims to help shift the paradigm from doing ministry for Indigenous communities to walking with them, encouraging the local church to take an active role in its own development and mission.
Alongside their work as facilitators, they are committed to disciple‑making and leadership development, longing to see Indigenous churches grounded in the Word of God, culturally relevant, and fully engaged in the Great Commission.
Luis, Katy, and their children serve as a family, understanding that their life and testimony are an integral part of their ministry. They share a calling to see communities transformed by the gospel and mobilized toward God’s mission.
