Violence, drugs, oppression…these concepts no longer characterize Colombia. The country is now actively seeking peace and civil rights for all its people and is inviting the church (including the rural indigenous church) to participate in transforming the nation. The indigenous church is maturing, and wants to walk in wisdom as it represents the true peace that is only found in Christ.
Javier & Betzabe Mayorga and their two sons have been in full-time ministry among Colombia’s indigenous since 2009, training and empowering Christian leaders in the lowland region bordering Brazil & Venezuela. Recently, the indigenous church invited the national & international church to walk the trail with them as they develop theologically. Javier & Betzabe are integral to all three waves to be in synchronization.
