Jenna Weigner is serving as Short-Term Teams Coordinator at the invitation of The Three Waves Movement. She and her husband Jason and four boys recently relocated to North Fort Myers, Florida after serving in Bolivia since 2009. A sociologist and midwife by training, she has built relationships with indigenous in the Bolivian lowlands for the last 15 years and has supported the growth and development of the Torre Fuerte Discipleship Center in Chochis.
She is passionate about uplifting and listening to indigenous leaders and their vision to reach their communities with the Gospel of Christ. Her whole ministry has been based on the idea of seeking wholeness for communities and individuals spiritually, emotionally, and physically. She is excited to be a part of walking alongside her colleagues in their ministries, being a listening ear and an encouraging presence. She looks forward to helping disciple North American churches in how to do short-term teams with excellence to facilitate the growth and development of national indigenous missionaries.
In her spare time, you can find her homeschooling her children, playing piano, crocheting or hanging out with her family.
