AMEI 2026

Women of the Amazon

In recent years, ministries led by Indigenous women have begun to emerge in multiple countries of the Amazon region—each one focused on equipping women to lead, disciple, and bring the Gospel to unreached communities. This July, for the first time ever, these women will come together in one place.

AMEI 2026 will be a historic international consultation, bringing Indigenous women leaders from across South America to consolidate their efforts and formally launch an Indigenous Evangelical Women’s Association—a new branch of the Trans-Amazon Network. This association will unite and elevate the voices of Indigenous women, strengthening their leadership and amplifying their impact across tribal and national borders.

In cultures where women have often been overlooked or silenced, this event boldly celebrates their God-given value, calling, and contribution to God’s movement in South America. Their ministries are relational, sustainable, and transformational—and now, they’re coming together to shape the future.

AMEI 2026 will strengthen Indigenous women’s leadership, formalize regional collaboration, and strengthen their collective voice within the Three Waves Movement. It’s a groundbreaking moment—and a powerful step forward.
